Pressures shown are recommended operating pressures. Test pressure is 1.5 times "operating". Vacuum Rating (in HG) is based on neutral installed length, without external load. Products should not be installed "elongated" on vacuum applications. AFA Style 99SFA expansion joints are furnished complete with retaining flanges. Because of storage space and shipping methods the (L) length of the joints mat vary from the dimension (L) above. This variance has no effect on the performance of the product. If the joint has been compressed or extended both can be manually extended and compressed to fit the measure space. AFA Style 99SFA permisible movements are shown in (Table 1A).
